Moon Tale pays homage to beauty rituals as an art of personal expression. Through the radiance of a flaming red, a veil of rice powder, the intensity of the gaze, color reveals a part of oneself. Inspired by the Chinese legend of the Four Beauties — one of whom is said to have eclipsed the moon with her grace — Jacques Cavallier Belletrud imagined an olfactory reinterpretation. The Master Perfumer translated the evocative power of red into a brilliant burst of raspberry that opens the composition. It reveals a generous bouquet of China's most beautiful flowers: peony brings tenderness, revealed by vibrant accents of geranium. Intense, radiant jasmine sambac is enveloped by the freshness of magnolia. For the base, musks impart an ethereal, powdery veil with cosmetic accents.
