Are you fragrances authentic?

Yes, all our full-size bottles and samples (both decanted and branded) contain only original and authentic fragrances. We take pride in sourcing our fragrances directly from brands as well as from licensed and trusted retailers.

INVENTORY

What is your inventory selection based upon?

We understand that our inventory might not be as robust when compared to other well-known perfume retail stores, but that is only because we are focused primarily on niche and luxury designer fragrances with great longevity and projection. Our goal is to provide you rather with a quality selection of fragrances that are highly praised amongst perfume critics and connoisseurs.

Do you charge sales tax?

Our business is registered in state of Connecticut and therefore every purchase made on aromadeus.com, as well as shipping cost, are subject to the standard CT sales tax.

Do I get an Order Confirmation?

After submitting your order you’ll receive an email verifying that it’s been received by Aromadeus team. Once your order is shipped you’ll receive an additional email informing you of the shipping date, the details of your order and any tracking information available.

Please note: Certain packages may require a signature upon receipt. Please track the shipment to remain updated on its delivery status.

Can I cancel an order?

In the event that you change your mind regarding an order you’ve placed you may cancel it, providing it hasn’t been processed to ship. We attempt to ship orders within 24-48 hours and in some cases immediately so not all orders can be canceled once they have been submitted. During certain high volume times (promotions, holidays, etc) it may take us an additional 24-48 hours to process and ship your order.  Please know that we’ll make every effort to honor cancel requests, but that in some cases it just isn’t possible.

Some orders cannot be cancelled even if the order status does not read “Shipped” or “Completed” because they are too far along the process of picking and packing to cancel. Again, we’ll make every effort to honor cancel requests.

How do I get a refund for my order?

To refund your purchase, please contact us with your order number via support@aromadeus.com. On receipt, the returned goods will be promptly inspected and your refund will be processed according to the findings. We will not refund the return costs unless the goods are faulty or have been incorrectly supplied.

The only exception are both branded and decanted samples/vials which are final sale, non-returnable/non-refundable. If you have any questions, please read our shipping & returns policy.

SAMPLES

What should I know about your samples?

Each fragrance presented on aromadeus.com may be available in form of branded samples, decanted samples or both, as indicated on our website. If any one fragrance is available in both types of samples (branded and decanted) you will be able to choose the type of sample you prefer.

-Branded samples range from 1ml – 2ml in volume, and only come in a spray format regardless of its volume, meaning no plug-style or dab-style vials.

-All Aromadeus decanted samples come in a high quality 2ml glass vials in a spray format, labeled and packaged accordingly.

When you purchase 4 or more samples of any kind, we place them into a beautiful cotton pouch.  Is it pretty enough to be gifted to a friend or a loved one? You bet!

Why do you decant fragrances?

Not every brand provides samples of their fragrances. But don’t feel bummed, that’s where decanting comes into play. We carefully extract a small amount of fragrance from a full bottle, pour it into a 2ml glass vial, then label and package it with love so you could test it without a worry. Bring it on vacation, carry it in your pocket for occasional refreshing spritzes… decanting is a great way to test and explore a wide range of  unique and coveted fragrances without breaking a bank.

How is sample pricing determined?

At Aromadeus, we are committed to providing the best possible fragrance discovery experience. Our sample pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis, considering several key factors, including:

Wholesale Cost: In many cases, our sample prices reflect the high cost of the fragrances themselves, especially with luxury or niche lines.

Packaging & Prep: When brands don’t provide ready-made samples, we hand-decant from full bottles into high-quality atomizers, then place them into private-label holders. Each sample is carefully prepared, labeled, and packaged to maintain fragrance integrity.

Volume of the vial: Since all decanted samples come in the volume of 2ml (which typically is a greater volume than most of the branded samples) they are priced accordingly considering the cost of fragrance per 1ml.

Retailer Differences: You may see different pricing across retailers due to brand agreements, formats, or packaging, but we aim to provide a premium, consistent experience.

What should I know about your full-size bottles?

If you aren’t familiar with a scent, we highly recommend sampling it first before you commit to a full-size bottle. Unfortunately, once you open a full-size product, it can not be returned.

Where do you ship to?

At this moment only domestic shipping within the US is available. We do not offer shipping outside of the US. However, this might change in the future as our company grows. Sign up for our newsletter to stay on top of such news.
